A Royal Do

What better excuse for a party than a Royal Wedding?! We hosted a BBQ today for 12 of our lovely NCT friends, plus six toddlers & three babies, needless to say it was chaos, but a fun chaos. The sun was shining, the Pimms was flowing (far too easily), plus David made a cheeky pitcher of Long Island Ice Tea.

The kids are at that age now where they are starting to play & interact with each other. Although there was the odd Toddler version of the Hunger Games, when they decided to scrap over one particular toy! Today the pram and the space hopper were THE must have toys.

The three babies were as good as gold. They really enjoyed absorbing the action and took it all in. As well as the yummy BBQ, we also had a Great British Cake Off section, where homemade Lemon Drizzle, Salted Caramel Brownies and Victoria Sponge were all competing for first place. The Lemon Drizzle was the winner!

I’m royally pooped! I laid on my bed to write this blog and fell asleep for an hour! I’m definitely going to get an early night tonight, it’s Baby Daisy’s 1st Birthday party tomorrow, so the batteries need to be recharged. Night night everybody!!
