I did a bit of batch cooking for Flo last night and this was one of the dishes I made. Taken from the First Foods Cookbook, the Purple One by Ellas Kitchen, the Very Very Tastie Veggie Bake with Lentils was a hit with Flo this afternoon! She polished off the lot.
Just check out her expression! Her eyes almost popped out of her head. If she could talk she definitely would of yelled “foooooood gimme gimme”. I like to mix it up at mealtimes and give Flo both puree and finger foods to try. She really enjoys being able to play and squish the food in her hands and then shove it in her mouth as fast as she can.
This dish is packed full of goodness and it smelt so delicious whilst cooking! Again another easy recipe to follow once you chop up all the veggies. The Cumin gives it a slight spice to get your baby’s taste buds tingly! It’s suitable for freezing so I’ve made a couple of ice cubes for another day.
