It never fails to amaze me how much stuff babies need! Especially when you stay overnight somewhere. Just the sheer thought of packing all their crap sends shivers down my spine. Sometimes I need a glass of wine to get over the stress of the possibility that I’ve forgotten something (that’s my excuse anyway).
Tomorrow is Daddy’s Birthday so tonight we are sleeping over at Nana & Grandad’s for the first time! So far the girls have been as good as gold! It’s still early doors yet. I’m hoping the brandy in their milk does the trick…did I just say that out loud (joking obviously).
The girls love their new room! Bella was so excited to see it and took great pleasure in ransacking it in minutes. I love the finishing touches! Flo was fascinated with this gorgeous, vibrant rug from Ikea, I love their kids stuff.
She also loved meeting Big Bear, brought for Bella as a Christmas present by Uncle Aaron. The bear is currently a permanent lodger at Nana & Grandads (sorry about that).
We have had a lovely day! The girls are both fast asleep (for now), Nana & Grandad are on night watch and Mama & Papa are taking full advantage and we’ve buggered off to the pub. Cheers!!
