I think it’s so important to encourage kids to use their imaginations! Switch off the TV now and again (don’t worry I’m guilty of using it as a tool when things get a little crazy) and let their minds wander! We are quite lucky because Bella has a brilliant imagination. She goes into a world of her own and will make up a game with two bits of paper, if that’s all she had.
I wanted to share this amazing company with you. Pocket Peg Dolls make these awesome, wooden Peg Dolls and can pretty much make any theme you can think of! As you all know, we are off to Disneyland Paris in November, so I ordered a Tinkerbell, Minnie Mouse, Elsa and Anna from Frozen, to go into the girls Disney Travel Goody Bags. Belle was a freebie-how lucky am I?!
I was so excited, I couldn’t wait another 6 months to give them to Bella and I think her face says it all! She loves them! She even binned off her bedtime stories (normally unheard of), so that she could ‘play a little longer’ with her Peg Dolls. Apparently they are very cheeky (Bella’s words), so I can’t wait to see what mischief they will get up to around the house.
These gems are perfect for imaginative play! You should see the Hungry Caterpillar set! I think I’m going to become slightly obsessed! If you’re on Instagram, check out their page @pocketpegdolls or if you’re interested and want to know more, you can email pocketpegdolls@gmail.com.
