As promised I said I would share each amazing Busy Bags by Little Scribblers as Bella tries and tests them. Next on our list was the Mini Moto Mini Kit. This is one of my faves because it provides a few different activities all in one bag. After watching Bella work her way through this bag, I was really impressed at how much her attention span has improved.
This brilliant mini pack includes a double-sided laminated activity card, 2 buttons, 1 shoelace, 6 coloured sticks, 5 coloured pegs, a double-sided graphical instruction card including ideas on how to extend the activities, walk through video link and it all comes in a handy zipped bag. The pegs are great for teaching children counting and number sequence, as you have to match the number dots on the pegs to the dots on the Mini Moto card.
The pegs are also great for developing those all important fine motoring skills. You could also use the pegs to help teach colours and ask your little one to match each peg to the coloured squares on Mini Moto’s head. Bella really had to concentrate with this activity as it became quite fiddly, when trying to fit all five pegs in a row.
I was interested to see how Bella would do with weaving the shoelace in and out of the holes. She’s never really been interested in activities that require her absolute attention but she really enjoyed the challenge and she did so well. This mini kit also has six different coloured sticks which are great with helping to teach colours but your little ones can also make different shapes with them.
