Those who know me well, will tell you that I’m like a dog with a bone when it comes to party planning (well planning in general). To put it frankly I’m a nightmare! I have many ‘lightbulb’ moments and will not rest until I’ve completely planned the theme, decorations, quirks, guest list, menu, party bags, the whole shabang!
There have been many failed attempts to reign me in! So with that in mind, you will not be surprised to learn that I booked the girls joint Birthday party in January (their Birthday is in October-don’t judge me).
Naturally, I’ve been thinking about one of the most important things…party bags! The girls are much popular than I am, so the guest list is rather large (28 kids-gulp). It got me thinking (mildly panicking) about the contents of the party bags!
With the hall hire, soft play, bouncy castle and food, I didn’t want to spend bucket loads on party bags. So I thought of this idea! Decorate Your Own Mask Kit!! Great for 3 year olds. It’s easy to make and allows them to use their imagination!
I also thought of this cool idea! We are going for a Peppa Pig themed party (Bella is obsessed and I’m sure Flo will be, by the time she turns one), so of course you have to have ‘muddle puddles’ aka giant chocolate buttons in the party bags!
I will have other bits & bobs in the bags. I’ll do the big reveal (not that you really care-but you can pretend), once I start putting them together!
I’ll think of another idea for the one year old party bags. A Peppa Pig book would make a good alternative to the mask. Let’s face it, a one year old would be too tempted to eat the feathers! Watch this space.
