On the Carpenter menu tonight, we had another tasty dish from Hello Fresh. I cooked Mexican Style Beef with Crispy Potato Top, Guac & Sour Cream and David said it was one of the best dishes yet-get in!
Once again it was super easy to make and packed with lots of goodness. Hello Fresh do recommend this recipe for families and although it was very tasty, I think kids might find it a bit too spicy (or maybe that’s me…I’m a bit of a wimp when it comes to spice).
I really liked the Guac! It’s basically mashed, avocado mixed with lime juice. It was refreshing with a hint of zest and complimented the overall dish perfectly! I left out the coriander as I really can’t stand it!
If you have fancy having a go, here’s the recipe. Let me know how you get on! Be warned it’s pretty filling! I couldn’t finish mine and that’s saying something. My Mum once told me that when I was a kid, I used to eat dinners bigger than my Dads-if only I had the same metabolism now *sigh*.
