We love to host. So if there’s any excuse for a party we will (the royal we, it’s mainly me to be honest, but are you really surprised?) jump on the band wagon and get all our friends together. What better excuse than the Royal Wedding? We have invited our yummy Mummy & Daddy friends to ours for a Royal BBQ.
I’ve started to get bits together to help set the scene. Just thought I’d share with you all. We are also going to have a Great British Cake Off competition. Everyone will bring a cake (it doesn’t have to be homemade, because who has time for that?) and the best cake wins a prize. I’ve also brought some bean bags for the kids and thought they could take turns and try and throw them into a bucket (nice & simple, we all knew toddlers get bored after 5 minutes).

You can’t host a Royal Wedding party without cute bunting! I got this bunting from Ebay. I thought it looked quite classy.
Harry & Megan Masks, £4.99, Amazon
You have to get an obligatory picture of all your guests wearing these masks. Plus they add a bit of fun to your Royal party. There was also a free, flag thrown in.
Union Jack Inflatable Beer Cooler, £5.99, Amazon
One for the Dad’s! A Union Jack, Inflatable Beer Cooler, because why not?! We will also use this throughout the summer. Saves trekking up the fridge.

I got these for the kids. I thought they’d have fun flapping them around (hopefully they won’t use them as weapons-you know what toddlers are like). I thought it would also make a cute photo!

A great way to add a splash of colour around the house and also to carry the theme throughout. Also kids love balloons!
