It’s day 567078, does anyone else feel the same? To be honest I don’t even know what day it is! It’s another week in lockdown, so here are my new top ten lockdown activities to help you get through another week.
Number 1: MojiPop Party
The girls were recently sent some MojiPop Party goodies https://www.mojipops.com/uk and it is now their new obsession. MojiPops Party is brilliant, they make great pocket money toys, there are 90 to collect and they are great for imaginative play. They also help your children learn how to express themselves as each MojiPop Party figure has two expressions on its face, one at the back and one at the front.
Number 2: Big School Prep
Bella is starting school in September so we are starting to prep her for her next milestone. One of the things that we haven’t taught yet is how to use a knife and also how to use cutlery correctly. My Hubby came up with the idea of asking Bella to make food out of play-doh and ask her to practice cutting up her “food”. It worked really well and she actually used a knife and fork at dinner and cut up her own food.
Number 3: Fairy Sparkle Mosaics
I brought this Sparkle Fairy Mosaics kit by Galt on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Galt-Toys-Fairy-Sparkle-Mosaics/ and it includes 6 numbered picture cards and 12 sheets of different coloured and textured sticky tiles. Each colour has a number so you’re meant to follow the guide to create your mosaic. Flo got stuck right in and was totally engrossed and Bella happily stuck tiles all over her face and body.
Number 4: Pipsie & Moo
The girls are big fans of baking, mostly because they get to stuff their faces with cake (who can blame them?!) we have been sent a couple of Pipsie & Moo Magic Muffin kits to try https://www.pipsieandmoo.com and the girls love them. Number 10: Beach Bounce
I think it’s safe to say that Beach Bounce by Tactic is Bella’s new favourite game! She is quite a competitive sausage so she got really excited every time she successfully threw or bounced the ball into a wave. You compete in two teams and you have to bounce the ball in a row of three, the winner gets to put a flag on a palm tree and the overall winner is the first team to get three flags on a palm tree.
