With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I’ve been thinking of some craft & sensory ideas to try with the girls. First things first, the all important Valentine’s Day card for Daddy. I wanted to find easy ideas for Bella to try and do by herself and a non fussy craft idea for Flo. I searched my trustee app Pinterest and I wanted to share these ideas with you;
Valentine’s Day Card Ideas
This one is my favourite idea! Very easy to do and very sweet. Once you’ve prepared all the pieces of paper and drawn the heart shape, your little one can take care of the rest themselves. You could even frame it!
I really liked this idea! It’s not only easy but it would make a great keepsake too. It would also make a lovely Mother’s Day card idea. You could even try it with footprints.
This idea would be great to try with babies! It will also make a great keepsake too. I’m going to try this idea with Flo! I’ll probably do two separate footprints and then stick them on top of each other.
This is another easy idea to try with babies. You could even get your older child to decorate the card and make a love bug out of their Brother or Sister’s footprint.
Valentine’s Day Craft Ideas
This idea looks great for small children and Toddlers. Once you’ve set it all up for them, they will have a whale of a time, creating their own Silly Heart Puppets. I will definitely try this idea with Bella.
This is another fab and easy idea for Toddlers to try. You might have to try and make a smaller version as young children might get bored halfway through or you could do this craft in two sittings.
I really like this idea! It’s very sweet and easy to make. Bella loves animals so she would really enjoy making this. You could even try and make different animals.
