And I don’t mean in a good way! I had good intentions of cheering Bella up today as she’s been poorly (we all have) and was getting cabin fever. So I decided it was about time we taste tested Creams in Tunbridge Wells. Boy did that backfire.

Bella couldn’t care less that we were about to eat ice cream for lunch, in fact Flo was more excited and she wasn’t even going to get any ice cream. I love the pic on the left; Hands up for ice cream, me, me, me! After miserably picking the Sundae of her choice, Bella then continued to whine that her ice cream was not coming quick enough.

Once it finally arrived (to be fair there was a 10 minute wait) she took a couple of mouthfuls and then turned her nose up at it and refused to eat anymore. She then turned her attention to my waffle and quite literally put her grubby mitts all over it, before deciding that actually she didn’t want to eat my waffles either.

Flo ate her purée whilst eyeing up both Bella & my dessert, her eyes were firmly fixed. I didn’t even manage to get halfway through my waffle when it all kicked off. Flo decided it would be fun to head butt the table and of course this made her scream, very loudly! So I gave her a little taste of my ice cream to calm her down (bad Mummy) and like magic, she calmed down (check out her stretched out hand-gimme gimme).

It was Bella’s turn to kick off and like a true diva, she threw her dessert spoon across the table and starting to shout that she ‘wanted to go home’. So I hastily made an attempt to tidy up the table, which looked like a food war zone, whilst throwing (not literally but almost) both girls into the double pram.

Flo had somehow managed to cover me in super, sticky Kiddilicious Blueberry wafer (that stuff truly sticks) and I got halfway to the car before realising there was wafer stuck to my bum (good effort Flo). Overall a not so heavenly experience. Think we will have to try that one again, but with Daddy for backup!
