Baby Recipe Alert: Cod & Sweetcorn Fish Pie

Bella is off her food at the minute. She is far too busy wanting to play and explore than waste time stuffing her chops, so when she piped up that she wanted Fish Pie for dinner, I dashed to the supermarket and brought the ingredients I needed. I swear I heard her mutter “I own you” under her breath.

There’s no fancy chopping board pic (fancy?! Who am I kidding?), I had to quickly whip it up whilst Flo had her afternoon nap, so every second was precious. I got this recipe from my Bible, Quick & Easy Weaning by Annabel Karmel.

It’s such an easy dish to make and one that all the family can eat. It’s really tasty actually. It’s also suitable for freezing which is so handy for when you want to do a spot of batch cooking. Just look at the joy in Flo’s face, I think fish pie might be one of her new faves!

Bella also ended up clearing her plate (I should of got photographic evidence of that) She hasn’t done that in such a long time! I’ve got a couple of new recipes that I’m going to try this week for the girls so I will make sure I share them with you.

You know the drill if you want to try it at home, here is the recipe.

I hope your little ones enjoy it as much as my girls did!
