Tonight, I decided to make bath time a little more colourful with the help of an Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb & Monsters & Aliens Fun soap (which is basically like Play-Doh for the bath) from Lush! Bella was super excited that her bath water had turned purple-to be fair even I was impressed!
It’s such a simple & safe way to inject some fun into bath time. Bella really did think it was magic (it did remind me of Harry Potter). Lush products are completely natural and packed full of goodness. The Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb is jam-packed with Lavender, which is designed to help our little critters sleep better (I should of dunked Flo a couple of times).
The Monsters & Aliens soap literally feels like Play-Doh, until you get it wet and then it gets really slimey and slippery, which adds to the fun! It’s quite a big bar, so you only need to break a small bit off at a time, so it will last ages. When Bella was washing herself with the soap, she was so pink, she looked like the Pink Panther. Thankfully it didn’t stain Bella’s skin or my white bath-I was definitely taking a gamble on that one. But hey that’s my job as a Blogger, taking the risks so you don’t have to (you’re welcome 😜).
The only frustrating element was that I had to wash Bella’s hair a million times! Every time I washed it, her alter ego ‘Mermaid Bella’ took over and she would lay down in the bath, which made her hair feel all soapy and slimey. My bathroom smelt amazing afterwards! I would definitely recommend both products! Bella had a ball in the bath tonight!
