This morning I had to eat humble pie and take our Fishy friends back to Pets At Home. The filter kept going crazy at night and made a horrendous, loud buzzing sound that of course woke Bella up and scared the crap out of her! They were also particularly stinky! I had to clean them out 4 times a week, so I think the filter was dodgy.
Bella decided that she no longer wanted to share her room with the four scaly friends and we had no where else to put them, so after a big fat ‘I told you so’ from my Husband, I decided to take them back.
Bella seemed fine with it. I told her that the fish missed their friends and that we could visit them anytime. She then completely change the subject and asked for Chocolate Buttons and just like that her brief stint of being a pet owner was over. We live and learn.
