With June 17th just around the corner, Father’s Day is fast approaching! I’ve been scouring my favourite app Pinterest for inspiration for card ideas! Bella is really into her arts and crafts now and I thought it would be a nice idea for her to make Daddy a card.
These were my favourite five ideas and I wanted to share with you:
Love this idea! If you have more than one child, this is a brilliant idea. You can get both of them involved and have one make the handprint and the other make the footprint. They could also decorate their own print and put their own personalised stamp on it.
I really liked this Owl design. Once you’ve cut out the owl shape and wings, it would be really easy for your toddler or child to decorate. If you were going to make this with your toddler, I would suggest that you cut out the owl and wings the night before. We all know impatient toddlers can be when it comes to crafts!
I really like this Papa Bear card idea too! It looks really easy to make so once you taken care of cutting out the bear head and ears, your toddler can stick on the rest!
I thought this was a really simple but sweet idea! You could get your toddler or child to decorate the hands to snazz it up a bit. If your toddler if anything like mine and won’t stay still enough to draw around their hands, just draw around your own.
I Thought this idea was perfect for toddlers as it looks so easy to make! Once you’ve cut out the fish shape, your toddler can decorate the fish. You could use stick on jewels or gems or cut out shiny scales for your toddler to stick on.
