Today when I picked Bella up from Nursery, she gave me my first Mother’s Day present. Obviously Daddy normally does that deed. But this was something she done by herself and it secretly made me feel a tad emosh (I know, I’m a saddo).
She proudly told me that she had planted a Sunflower Seed ‘all by herself’. I don’t think the Pre-School got the memo on how terrible I am at keeping plants alive!
I must remember to water it, I must! Failing that, I could always pop to Homesense and get a fake one and pretend it miraculously grew over night?! Tempting!
She also made me this beautiful card, which was a cut out of her hand. Seriously how did they manage to do that?! It’s not an easy task. I’ve tried before and she doesn’t sit still enough, so her hand always comes out looking really creepy.
Anyway like the sad Mummy I am, I will treasure it forever!
