It’s the first day of our holiday and it has unfortunately rained all day. This is our third time visiting Cornwall, so we are well aware of how unpredictable the weather can be, so thankfully I was prepared and I packed a few toys and crafty bits to keep the girls entertained. You’ll know from my previous blogs that we are big fans of Kids Knead Play and their Construction Play Dough Kit is our new favourite.
I love the thought and detail that has gone into this kit. Bella is a massive fan of imaginative play and she couldn’t wait to explore. This kit is not only great for encouraging children to use their imaginations, it’s also really good to help develop those all important fine motoring skills.
Bella really loved stacking the mini bricks on top of each other and balancing the beads and buttons on top. She also enjoyed pushing the bricks and bottle lid into the Play Dough to see what pattern it would imprint. The Construction man figure got up to all sorts of adventures including saving the digger who got stuck in the “mud” and running away from an Ankylosaurus who wanted to eat him.
This kit contains everything you need to create your own construction themed adventure. From scented yellow & brown play dough to a mini yellow car and digger, to a construction man figure to a couple of construction themed signs. There are also mini bricks and different sized wooden cubes, Pom Poms, buttons and beads and nut, yellow, orange and gold pipe cleaners.
