Once again Lucy & Rosie pulled out all of the stops at Gymboree Play and Music and Gymbofest was a massive success! The girls were rocking their tutus and flower crowns, they were festival ready and they were very excited for the festival themed party to start. The festival vibe was on point and the girls couldn’t wait to rummage through the selfie station.
The Glitter Station was very popular and it was a nice added touch. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone had big smiles on their faces the whole party. I just love how much the children are encouraged to get involved and use their imaginations. The events at Gymboree Play & Music are always well themed and Lucy and her team always go that extra mile to make it extra special.
The party kicked off with the Hockey Cockey, followed by a rollercoaster ride on the famous Air Log. Then the hunt was on to work as a team to find all the butterflies and bees that were hidden around the gym. Once all the insects were collected, they were put in the middle and sent flying through the air, which resulted in a lot of excited cheers!
The children were then encouraged to jump into the “paddling pool” at Gymbofest and munch on toffee apples. The games and activities were fast paced and every single child was thoroughly entertained. Next the Pom Poms came out ready for a game of Musical Statues. Once again Bella took the game very seriously and she was very excited to win!
It was so sweet to watch all the little ones show off their dance moves. They all had so much fun. Next everyone brushed up on their fine motoring skills and the little ones played catch with their Mums & Dads with a variety of different sized balls. A brand new rock band was formed and everyone rocked the Gymbofest stage to Baby Shark, with singing and different musical instruments.
After a game of hide and seek, the parachute and bubbles wound the party down and then the children enjoyed a light buffet on the parachute, whilst us parents enjoyed a cheeky glass of fizz. There was also a prize for the best dressed! I’m always impressed at how amazing the events at Gymboree Play & Music are and I’ve noticed that a lot of members & non members attend the events time and time again, which speaks volumes.
Gymboree Play & Music is the perfect party venue! There’s plenty of free parking, Lucy and her team will take care of everything for you, plus you can bring your own party food. I am so excited for the girls to have their Birthday party there next year! I’ve always been impressed at how spotlessly clean the gym is, Lucy and Rosie always wash and clean the props.
