We all know what particular C word I’m referring to! Is anyone else at total disbelief at what is happening in the world? Are you worried? Or do you feel like it’s all been totally blown out of portion, thanks to media hype? I must admit I’m leaning more towards the worried party.

I’m worried for the vulnerable and elderly members of my family, I’m worried for my Husband’s business that he has worked so hard to get off the ground and build, I’m worried that my sanity will pack its bags and go on the run, if we are forced to fully self isolate. I’m worried about what the effect the Coronavirus will have on the economy. I’m sure many of you share the same fears.

Both of the girls have had colds for over a week so we haven’t been out much. I suppose it’s safe to say that we are self isolating. Their classes have been cancelled and because they are still showing cold symptoms, they are unable to go to Nursery. They have thankfully taken it in their stride and they are enjoying the time we are spending together.

I’ve been coming up with all sorts of ways to keep them entertained. The girls both share the same big imagination, so they are always up for make believe play. I plan to write a couple of blogs to give you ideas and ways in which to keep your little ones entertained if you are self isolating.

Although I’m constantly tired and probably a little fatter from all the extra chocolate and cakes I am eating (damn you kid baking kits), I’m trying to stay positive and appreciate the quality time that I’m getting to spend with the girls. Bella is going to school soon and Flo is growing up so fast, they will never be this young again. Stay strong, stay safe, boredom busting blogs are on their way!
