I’ve been rubbish at blogging recently. Most days I literally do not stop, so come the evenings I’m so shattered I just feel like vegging out on the sofa. I thought I’d give myself a kick up the bum and share some ideas with you. Seeing as the summer is whizzing by, I’ve been thinking about the girls Birthday’s in October.
Decoration
Bella is obsessed with Dinosaurs so what better theme for her Birthday than a Dinosaur one?! On Bella’s actual Birthday, the plan is to have a family day out somewhere and then have a family tea party in the late afternoon. I am so stealing this table centrepiece idea.
It wouldn’t be a Dinosaur party without a Dinosaur balloon! You can easily carry the Dinosaur theme with green, blue and orange balloons, but a Dinosaur shaped balloon would look awesome.
Roar-tastic Party Food
Dinosaur Footprint biscuits! These look so easy to make! You can use one of your child’s toy dinosaur footprints and then simply buy a selection of tubed icing and fill in the footprints.
Dinosaur shaped sandwiches! So easy to make and an effective way to carry the theme on the food table. You could also use the Dinosaur cookie cutters and cut Dinosaur melon shapes. I also love the idea below, I’ll definitely be stealing this for Bella’s party.
Finishing Touches
This is another easy and fun idea! The kids will love following these Dinosaur footprints! Maybe you could have a box of goodies waiting to be discovered at the end of the trail.
Love this Dinosaur Birthday banner! It’s perfect for a dino themed Party! This Jurassic Park banner is available on Etsy. I love these Dinosaur masks, you could put one of these next to each of your guests plates.
