Easter Sunday has always been a chilled out family day. We get up, hunt for Easter eggs together and eat chocolate for breakfast (standard Easter behaviour) we watch the girls excitement when they discover their gifts from the Easter Bunny and then the girls spend the day playing with their gifts, doing Easter Crafts and stickers. I don’t know about you but I need fun in my life right now and what’s more fun than the Easter Bunny?
It’s going to be strange and sad not seeing our families over Easter, which is why I want to make it extra special and fun this year. I’ve been collecting bits and bobs for the girls and I wanted to give you a sneak peek. I’m going to list them all below.
Books
Both of the girls love to read, so whenever there is a holiday, I always get them a themed book for the occasion. Sticker books are always a winner, they help to develop fine motoring skills and they make a great downtime activity. I got these books on Amazon.
Baker Ross
The girls are going to be obsessed with these cuddly lambs from Baker Ross, they are currently in the sale and cost £3.99 for four. The bunny squirters will be a hit in the bath. The girls are big fans of imaginative play and I can’t wait to see how excited they are going to be when they get their mitts on this Mini Story Princesses and Bunny & Guinea set by Rockaway Toys https://rockawaytoys.co.uk I love setting up invitation to play, standing back and watching the girls set up their own games. These mini sets is also an activity that they can enjoy together.
Poundland
You can always count on Poundland for Easter goodies. The girls love a cuddly toy and these squishy chicks flash too. We can’t just meander to the shops right now but you might find something similar online.
Kids Knead Play
I’m a massive fan of Kids Knead Play and their play dough kits have always been a firm favourite with the girls. This Easter themed kit only costs £5 and it will most definitely keep your little ones entertained. There are lots of different kits to choose from, Bella loves the construction themed one.
