I haven’t posted anything crafty in a while. My formally arts & crafts Veteran is far too busy with her Dance Show, Pre School and social life at the moment. Bella’s younger and Eager Beaver Sister Flo, is so desperate to be involved in everything that Bella does, it sometimes makes arts & craft activities impossible.
Seeing as Easter is around the corner (how is that even possible?!) I’ve been looking into some DIY Easter Card ideas. What Nanny or Nana doesn’t like receiving a handmade card? As always, I turned to my trustee inspiration app Pinterest and here’s a round up of my favourite ideas.
Easter Bunny Handprint
I think this is my favourite idea out of the bunch. It’s not only simple (my kind of craft), it will also be easy to involve Flo. You don’t need a lot of crafty materials to make these either.
Chick In A Egg
The perfect Easter Craft for Bella’s age. Apart from cutting out the handprint and egg shape, with all the bits provided, this is a craft that she could totally get on with by herself. It probably would end up looking a bit deformed and disheveled, but it would be fun to see what she came up with.
Easter Eggs
This is such an easy craft idea. Grab a couple of plastic bowls, fill them up with feathers, shapes and ripped up tissue paper, glitter if you’re feeling extra brave, give your Toddler a glue stick and let them show you their artistic side. I’ll definitely try this craft with both Bella & Flo, Flo will need to be closely supervised as she will no doubt try and snack on the glue.
Carrot Footprints
I really like this idea! Flo always gets roped into the Footprint cards we make. Thankfully she puts up with it, whilst wearing a look of disgust on her face. I think these Carrot Footprints are too cute not to try. Sorry Flo.
