Thanks to this seriously miserable weather, the girls have been busy crafting these past couple of weeks. They are so excited about a visit from the Easter Bunny and I’m planning the girls annual Easter tea party, so be prepared to be hit with lots of Easter spam! Here is a list of super easy Easter Crafts for you to try at home with your little bunnies.

Cute Easter Chicks

Both of the girls really enjoyed this craft! Once you’ve prepared the egg shells and beaks, your little ones can take care of the rest. The girls were a little too obsessed with painting their hands with PVA glue and peeling it off, but thankfully their attention returned to the craft and I was really impressed at how their Easter chicks turned out.

All you need is:

  • Little Brian yellow paintstick
  • Egg shell shapes cut out using different textured paper or foam
  • Yellow paper triangles for the beak
  • Black marker pen to make the eyes and legs
  • Glue stick or PVA glue
  • Paintbrush to spread the glue

Easy Easter Eggs

This was a perfect craft for Bella! She really enjoyed picking out each coloured strip. It’s a great activity for fine motoring skills and hand-eye coordination. Flo on the other hand completely lost interest and demanded to watch Peppa Pig.

All you need is:

  • Egg shapes cut out of card
  • Different coloured strips of paper, textured paper and fabric
  • PVA glue
  • Paintbrush for spreading glue
  • Fluffy Easter Chicks
  • The girls had an absolute blast making these fluffy Easter chicks, there were feathers everywhere! Once again it’s a really easy craft and one that you and your little ones can enjoy making together.

    • All you need is:

    • Yellow Doily
    • Large googly eyes
    • Yellow feathers
    • Orange card for beak and wings
    • Yellow card for feet

    Tissue Paper Art

    I got this Tissue Paper Art kit from Hobby Craft and both girls loved it! It only cost £2 and it includes three Easter themed shapes, tissue paper, gems, googly eyes and mini pom poms. It’s really easy to make, you just need to peel the white backing off to make it really sticky, rip and scrunch up the tissue paper and stick it onto the shapes.

    This activity is great for quiet time, the girls were fully engrossed in ripping up the tissue paper and they also loved collecting the “shiny treasure”.
