I’ve been meaning to do some batch cooking for Flo but I just haven’t gotten around to it. To be fair, we are so busy all the time that there isn’t enough hours in the day. Today whilst Flo napped & Bella played, I had a quick go at making Ella’s Kitchen Chomp Chomp cookies.

Thankfully they were so easy to make! It was literally a case of chucking all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mashing the banana, vanilla extract and oil in a separate bowl and then mixing the whole lot together.

Before you starting mixing the ingredients, preheat the oven to 180 and once you’ve mixed everything together, spoon the mixture onto a lined baking tray and flatten slighted to make a cookie shape. Pop in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.

My taste testers seem to enjoy the cookies! Bella scoffed hers and quickly demanded another (always a good sign) and Flo enjoyed squishing hers and throwing it everywhere. I had to help Flo taste her’s as she couldn’t quite get a hold of the cookie, but practice makes perfect.

Here’s the recipe if you fancy trying it. I followed it from Ella’s Kitchen The First Foods: The Purple One Book. I want to try the Porridge Oat Fingers next and the Courgette Fritters.
