This afternoon I decided to try Papier-mâché with Bella. I cheated a little and brought a cardboard Dinosaur figure for us to decorate with green tissue paper (hence the green fingers). Bella did really enjoy it, but she was more interested in eating her mini Penguin Biscuits, so I had to keep enticing her back to her work of art. My hands now look like I’m the Incredible Hulk’s twin Sister.
I love Hobbycraft! They have all sorts of shapes, figurines and letters for you to get crafty with! This was such an easy activity for a toddler and it’s relatively messy free. Make sure you prepare everything beforehand, this always helps as we all know how short the attention span of a toddler is.
I would definitely recommend this activity for a rainy day! It was quick & easy and they can play with it once it’s dry! If you fancy trying it yourself, when you’re in HobbyCraft next, look for this little fella. They also had a Triceratops.
I tried to get Bella to pose enthusiastically with her finished piece but this was the best I got 😂. A very reluctant cheeeese.
