True story! Anyone that knows me well, will tell you that I have many ‘ding’ moments. Just mention the words party, special occasion or theme and I’m like a woman on a mission, a dog with a bone, you get the drift! Seriously, within 5 minutes I’d have your whole event planned from start to finish, taking care of every detail including the colour of the napkins.

This little trait may drive my Husband a little crazy at times. With my Sisters baby shower next month, the girls Birthday in October and Disneyland Paris in November, my brain has been on overdrive lately. My head is swimming with ideas. Thank god for Amazon!

Most nights I have the good intentions of an early night, but I always end up researching or planning. I’m a bloody nightmare! When it comes to Birthdays most normal parents will put up a banner, maybe a balloon or two but I go all guns blazing. Bella is going to have a full blown Dinosaur themed Birthday this year including a few inflatable T-Rex’s (I’m not kidding).

My lovely and very talented friend Debbie is also designing posters of Bella riding on a Dinosaur. I love all the fun finishing touches. I know that Bella probably won’t remember her early Birthday’s but I feel it’s important to live for the now, because at 3 years old, she will think a picture of her riding an actual Dinosaur will be the best thing ever.

Do I have any other fellow planning obsessed Mama’s out there? Prove to my Hubby that I’m not the only Mum to obsess about colour themes or cupcake toppers. I must admit I haven’t gone too crazy over Flo’s Birthday but she will definitely do a cake smash, that baby is going to dive into that cake.

I have learnt that as you get older, your selfie skills aren’t what they used to be. I blame a year of sleepless nights, a lack of interest with styling one’s hair and generally feeling like a mombie. I couldn’t take myself seriously trying to take a picture of me posing with my crappy lightbulb drawing, so I thought a few silly Snapchat shots were in order-please don’t hate me.
