Those who know me well know how much I love to plan a party. The girls Birthday’s are four months away now, so I’ve started to get my thinking cap on. There is only a week between the girls Birthday’s (great planning on our behalf), so October is always a crazy, busy month.

The girls are having an animal encounter party this year (watch this space for my animal themed party blog soon). But for Bella’s actual Birthday I’m planning to turn my house into PJ Masks Headquarters. She’s totally obsessed with PJ Masks at the moment, we watch it all the time and she always wants to dress up as Gekko. I’ve hit my trustee Pinterest app and I thought I’d share my ideas with you in case you have a PJ Masks fan on your hands.

Decoration

A PJ Masks theme is pretty easy, thanks to the colours of the three main characters. Websites like https://www.partydelights.co.uk have lots of PJ Masks themed party decorations, tableware and party bag fillers. You can also pick up a lot of PJ Masks party bits on Amazon and eBay.

I plan to stick PJ Masks Bunting and red, blue and green balloons everywhere. I also want to buy one of those massive PJ Masks Airwalker balloons. I’m going to put a red table cloth on the kitchen table and The Wooden Bunny (on Instagram) is making a personalised, Gekko themed number 4, to stick on the table.

Party Food

I love getting creative with party food! There are so many simple yet effective ideas on Pinterest. I love this fruit idea, it’s such a great way to encourage your mini superheroes to eat fruit. Biscuits and cupcakes are also a great way of carrying out a theme. Simply decorate cupcakes with red, blue or green icing and stick a picture of your little ones favourite PJ Masks character on top of each cupcake.

Party Games

When planning parties for young children, it’s best to keep the ideas simple, because we all know how short their attention spans are. I love this Take the Villian Down game idea. You can easily create it at home and it’s a simple and fun game for your little ones to play with their friends. You could make a PJ Masks themed pass the parcel or fill up some black balloons with sweet treats and ask your party animals to pop the bombs.

Birthday Cake

I’m going to attempt to make this cake for Bella this year. I’m only going to do three layers and I might cheat and get Betty Crocker Vanilla Buttercream for the filling. I’m going to decorate the cake with smarties and popping candy, PJ Mask figurines and a number 3 candle.

Party Bags

I quite like this idea. It’s so simple and you could fill a PJ Masks paper cup up with a few treats and do it inexpensively. You can buy ready made PJ Masks Party bags on eBay and there are lots of different types to choose from. You could also put a PJ Masks mask out for each child and maybe a PJ Masks Sticker Book instead of a party bag.
