So far this week has been rather hectic! Our lovely Landlord (can you detect sarcasm in my voice?) has kindly given us notice on our house and two months to move out and find somewhere new to live! Not the most easy task when you have a young family, but cella vie, the show must go on!
Thanks to this bombshell, the past couple of days, I’ve been busy decluttering and making a start on the packing process. My Mother in Law Maxine came to stay for a couple of days to help (I think we most definitely wore her out), so the poor girls haven’t had much Mummy time.
So this morning whilst Flo napped, Chef Bella did some baking and made some cakes. We gave the Crayola Crafty Cooks Rainbow Sprinkles Cupcake Kit a try! It’s actually a really good kit. I’d definitely recommend it. You get two different types of icing to decorate the cakes with, sprinkles and two icing pens.
Bella really enjoys baking! I need to start looking at kids savoury recipes for her to try. I’ll add that to my to do list. Whilst her cakes cooked and cooled down, we made Peg Fairies (I’ll blog about that later). Bella couldn’t wait to decorate the cakes…but mostly was so desperate to eat one!
Voila! Here are her freshly decorated cupcakes! I think this kit would be perfect for Halloween! I love the green & yellow icing and you could replace the rainbow sprinkles with Bats or pumpkins! I picked up this kit in Asda.
