Ever since Bella has turned four she’s really enjoying arts and crafts and colouring more. We have been sent a My Kingdom Books to review and it’s brilliant! What makes this book extra special is that your child’s picture can come alive! What better way to encourage your little ones imaginations to run wild?
This live, colour 3D book is really easy to use. Firstly, ask your little ones to go to town and get colouring. This book is themed alphabetically so the choice is endless. Once they have finished colouring the pages, you download the free Live Colour 3D app and follow the instructions.
This activity is great for all ages (especially big kids like me), who wouldn’t be amazed to see their work of art come alive?! The instructions on the app are helpful, it’s in video format so it makes it easier to take it all in. I would recommend downloading the app on your device first, to help prevent having an impatient little person on your hands.
Flo really enjoyed getting involved and she had great fun colouring in her picture. What I love about My Kingdom Books is that it’s a lovely activity that the whole family can enjoy and it’s also great for entertaining your children on a rainy day. Bella was so excited to see “Mr Goaty Goat” pop up on the iPad.
Once you’ve downloaded the app, you enter your details at the login screen and point your phone at the right hand side of the book and voila, a 3D version of your child’s picture will pop up on your screen! You can even save your pictures to your favourites and relive them time and time again. The opportunities for play are endless.
