The girls had a blast at their joint Birthday party on Saturday! It was a full house with 28 kids (not including babies) and probably over 60 adults, needless to say it was crazy busy and very chaotic, but it was all good fun. We all had a very much needed, chilled out PJ day yesterday.
I didn’t manage to take that many photos, it was so busy but I managed to get a couple of snaps. I’m so glad I took these pictures of the girls when we did an outfit dummy run, (by the way I didn’t make Bella pose like that), it was mission impossible to get a decent picture of Bella, she was just like a blur every time. She was far too busy having fun with her friends to stand and pose for Mummy.
We used KBS Inflatables who set up a Peppa Pig themed bouncy castle and soft play and the kids loved it! It definitely kept them all entertained and helped them burn off all their energy. The kids all sat down nicely to tuck into the party food, we used M&S kids party sandwich & fruit platters which went down well, along with the usual party food favourites.
We also had beer & prosecco, pizzas, sandwiches and other party food for the adults! I think it’s fair to say that the highlight of the party was when Paw Patrol gate crashed! The kids were so excited! Bella kept saying “Mummy Rocky & Ryder have come to my party”, it made her day!
A special Thanks to my cousin Shane for kindly lending us the costumes and also a massive Thanks to Uncle Gary and my Cousin Lewis for wearing the costumes and putting on a great show! It added such an extra special touch to the party and it won’t be forgotten in a hurry.
One more Birthday celebration to go, it’s Bella’s 3rd Birthday this Wednesday. It’s definitely hard work having the girls Birthday’s and party a week apart, but I love planning and making it extra special for them both. Tomorrow night I’m turning the house into Jurassic Park and I’m attempting to make my first ever Birthday cake-send wine.
