I can’t quite believe our darling little Flo Flo turned one yesterday! Where has that year gone?! She had the best day ever! Her Big Sister opened all her presents, whilst she happily ate wrapping paper and played with the balloons and she loved playing with her new toys, well the ones that Bella let her have-it sucks being the youngest.
We headed to Godstone Farm for a family day out and what perfect weather we had for it. The sun shone and so did Flo’s smiley face. She had a great time, showing off her new, solo walking skills, stealing shoes in the soft play barn and she especially loved to impersonate the pigs.
After our fab day out we headed home for the much anticipated cake smash! Bella was far too ladylike to participate in her 1st Birthday cake smash and merely prodded her cake once with a look of distaste on her face. As you can see Flo was more than happy to oblige and she kept tucking into her cake in between walking laps of the kitchen.
I am so grateful and feel so lucky to have two daughters that are beautiful inside and out. It’s been a real pleasure (albeit a challenging journey at times) to watch Flo grow this past year. She is such a happy little soul with a big personality. She’s extremely funny, affectionate and she’s got the moves like Jagger.
It’s party time this Saturday and the girls will have their first ever joint Birthday party! Bella’s 3rd Birthday is next Wednesday. Talk about perfect timing! My future October’s will never be dull or inexpensive again. I can’t complain, I bloody love planning kids parties & Birthdays!
