This little pickle almost had her mummy in tears this morning! I experienced her first, Pre-School wobble!
Bella has been going to Hawkenbury Nursery School for a month and a half now and so far she has skipped off happily without a second glance (I think the promise of chocolate buttons at pick up helped).
This morning however she clung onto me as if her life depended on it. After sticking around for 5 minutes and making a few attempts to distract with her favourite, toy animals, I made a hasty exit.
I could hear her wailing and screaming “muuuuuuuummmy” as I left the building! I felt like THE worst Mum in the world! I called 5 minutes later to check if she’d settled down and she was happy as Larry, drawing pictures!
She does really love Pre-School and it’s doing wonders for her confidence and interaction with other kids.
It also gives me the opportunity to spend some quality time with my Mini Munch.
Oh how they love to pull on your heartstrings!
