Today, Flo went swimming for the first time and loved it! She was so relaxed. She was kicking her legs, constantly chatting & smiling and didn’t even flinch when Bella splashed her in the face (one too many times). It was such a different experience from when I took Bella swimming for the first time. I think I’m still scarred.
Bella was so excited to go swimming! I’m not really a water baby so I’ve been a bad Mummy and haven’t taken Bella swimming much at all! She’s recently been asking to go, so I think we might look into lessons soon and hope that she will be confident enough to go in the pool without me.
I love Bella’s new Sun Safe swimming costume from JoJo Maman Bebe! I brought it for our holiday in Cornwall in June and went for a two piece to make it easier for quick nappy changes or for her to wee on the potty if she’s ready by then. Flo is wearing a Happy Nappy costume handed down by her big sister, get used to it Flo.
Thankfully Auntie Jess was on hand to help with the girls! Jess was amazing with Bella in the pool! She had Bella jumping into pool and kicking her legs & splashing! Bella lasted for over an hour and didn’t want to get out! Flo lasted 25 minutes because she was hangry-we don’t call her Mini Munch for nothing.
