Yesterday morning, with the girls Trunkie’s packed and a cooked breakfast in our tummies, we set off to Paultons Park, home of Peppa Pig World. We arranged to meet Nana & Grandad there and we were all ready for a jam packed, adventurous Mother’s Day. Breakfast in bed is so over rated anyway.
We were really impressed at how well the park caters for families with small children. Of course the famous Peppa Pig World is a must for Toddlers as all the rides are tame. Flo could pretty much go on all of the rides and she had a whale of a time. The park is immaculate and every toilet comes equipped with a toddler toilet seat.
With 70 fun rides to choose from, plus playgrounds, 4D Cinema and Indoor Soft Play, you really are spoilt for choice. There really is something for everyone. Paultons Park is made up of four Worlds; Peppa Pig World, Lost Kingdom, Critter Creek and Little Africa. There are also other rides scattered across the park including The Victorian Carousel, Pirate Ship, Teacups to name a few.
The girls loved the trampoline’s and bouncy castle. They also really enjoyed exploring the gardens and spotting the different animal shaped trees. There were aviaries with lots of different colourful birds including Flamingos and various water features.
The Lost Kingdom is a Dinosaur themed park and as you can imagine Bella was in Dino heaven. The rides are a lot faster paced but still suitable for children 4+ or 1.1m tall. There were a few fun rides for the big kids and thrill seekers too. Our favourites were The Flight of Pterosaur, The Edge and The Velociraptor.
Critter Creek has attractions including Beastie Burrow; A real bug emporium with lots of unusual bugs, Lizards and Fish to explore, the Cat-O-Pillar Rollercoaster and Prof. Blast’s Expedition Express. Little Africa houses a number of animals including Meerkats, Giant Train Millipedes, Savannah monitor Lizards and lots more. At the centre of Little Africa is a beautiful Aviary with a impressive mix of African birds.
If you haven’t already visited Paultons Park you must put it on your list of places to visit. We’ve had the best couple of days and the girls had a massive smile on their faces the whole time.
