Bella is totally obsessed with cuddly toys, she even asked me if she could have a coat hanger teddy once! When Be My Bear invited us to be Brand Ambassadors, I of course jumped at the chance. Building a teddy bear at home would be one of Bella’s dream activities, so the girls were very excited when they received their very own Boredom Buster Box.
I am so impressed at the quality of these bear kits, the teddies are lovely and soft and they are really well made. These teddy bears are fairly easy to make, if you have younger children, they will need your help to stuff the arms and legs as it’s a bit tricky. Flo had great fun with the stuffing, pretending to be “HoHo” aka Father Christmas and throwing it around Bella’s room shouting “it’s snowing”. Bella took the task very seriously, her face full of concentration whilst she was stuffing her lamb teddy.
Once your child has stuffed their teddies, they then need to add the heart. This is such a sweet idea, they can make a wish before they put it in their bear and the heart says Best Friends. The girls really enjoyed this part. The girls were also sent a mini t-shirt to decorate each for their bears to wear.
Flo named her Duck teddy “Duck Duck” after her favourite comforter and Bella called her lamb “Timmy”. The girls loved personalising the t-shirts and they couldn’t wait to dress their bears. I loved this extra touch, it’s so nice to be able to completely personalise your own teddy.
