David (my lovely Husband) and I recently attended a Baby First Aid course, run by Nicola at Daisy First Aid and it was brilliant!

When it came to baby first aid, I was totally clueless and it scared the crap out of me, so I found the course very useful. I now have the confidence to deal with an emergency, whether it be choking, recovery position for both a toddler and baby and also CPR for both (I pray I’ll never have to use it).
The course runs for two hours and will cover the following:
- CPR
- Recovery positions
- Choking
- Head injuries
- Burns
- Poisons
- Allergic reactions
- Febrile seizures
- Sepsis
- Bleeding
- Meningitis
- Unconscious casualty
- Shock
The course is hands on and extremely practical and I can highly recommend it to all parents, grandparents, expectant parents or anyone that looks after children on a regular basis.

I also brought this super handy, pre-made first aid kit! I’ve included a list of what it contains.
The next class will be held on 17th March at The Hub in Grosvenor & Hilbert Park. It’s £25 per person and it’s well worth it! https://www.daisyfirstaid.com/tunbridge-wells/
