So I’m really trying to work on my crafty skills. Let’s face it, when (not if-that’s what I keep telling myself) I become an Early Years Teacher, I need to be better at crafts than a two year old-(that’s debatable at the mo).
Thank god for Pinterest! It’s my go-to app when I’m looking for inspiration for toddler, friendly craft ideas or anything else you can think of! Anyway I decided to make a dragon with Bella. For those interested (haha) here is what you need.
He (yep he’s a he) didn’t turn out too bad. Apart from the wonky eyes and the odd sized pom poms (can’t even blame Bella for that one). Make sure you use strong glue. The pom poms kept bloody falling off and this made me very crangry (craft angry).
After carefully & lovingly fixing ‘Mr Dragon’, Bella manhandled him, sending one pom pom eye & nostril flying and then continued to use him as a trumpet. I was secretly devastated & embarrassingly fixed the pom poms as soon as she discarded him and then popped him safely on the wall, amongst Bellas art corner…who’s display is it again?!
