Today I got to eat a Cheese & Ham Toastie with both hands AND I didn’t have to share it! If you’re a Mummy, you’ll know that these, small victories are what makes our world go round! Nana & Grandad kindly offered to take Bella out for the day, so that meant that this Mummy had a very relaxing coffee & an ACTUAL real life chat, with my good friend Eva.
Here we are looking rather smug! We got the babies weighed (Eva is Flo’s Boyfriends Mum. Flo has put on a whopping 1lbs 7oz in 4 weeks) and then we headed straight to the industrial estate for our coffee.
Mini Munch thankfully slept the whole time (Thank You Coffee God). The next highlight of my day was a trip around Asda (living the dream). That shop is way too tempting!
I went in for the basics. Milk, bread, etc, etc and came out with two new bedtime books for Bella (The Gruffalo’s Child & Avis Walliams The Bear Who Went Boo-both were well received tonight), socks, hairbands & a super cute outfit for Bella (it came with a cat handbag-how could I resist), I accidentally put threw a top for me in the basket and a load of food that wasn’t on my list!
Flo had another cat nap (it’s a hard life). You can spend so much more without a toddler in tow!
