My girls are obsessed with Peppa Pig. I’m sure a lot of you parents are in the same boat. When I started to plan the girls joint Birthday party (their Birthday’s are a week apart), a Peppa Pig theme was a no brainer!
I love planning parties and I always get carried away. I just can’t help myself! Not everyone shares the same enthusiasm for kids parties, so I thought I’d save you from torture and share my ideas.
Food & Drink
How cool is this idea?! Not sure about the bright green drink (imagine the E numbers). But you could certainly use squash and stick the dinosaur picture on the jug! I’ll definitely be pinching this idea for the girls party!
I love this idea. It’s so easy yet effective! Simply use a black marker pen to draw on a snout. This idea is also being pinched for the party.
Dinosaur shaped sandwiches! This would take dedication! Personally I’m going down the M&S kids sandwich platter route. We (well Nana & Auntie Val) made the sandwiches for Bella’s 1st Birthday party and it took over an hour! I thought these were a cool idea though.
Decorations
I love the idea of a sun and clouds on a blue backdrop. It’s quite nice to have various stations at a party to keep things flowing. We are hiring a hall for the girls party and will only have an hour to set up, so I’m going to have to keep things as simple as possible.
Love this idea! These cute Peppa Pig themed Pom poms instantly set the theme and they are bright and colourful, so they are perfect for kids party. I’m definitely going on the hunt for these.
I love the idea of giant balloons. The kids will love them! Although I can imagine them causing a few scraps between the three year olds! Party Games
If you are throwing a DIY Peppa Pig party at home, these masks are a fab idea! You could have a craft station and the kids can decorate them. You could provide feathers, crayons, glitter pens and gems and let the kids take care of the rest.
Cut out your own muddy puddles using felt and the kids could take it in turns and jump on them. This is a good idea for younger kids. You could maybe do a musical puddle jump, so when the music stops, if a child isn’t on a muddy puddle they are out.
Pin the tail on Peppa Pig. This is another easy, party game that you could make yourself. Maybe the winner could win a Peppa Pig themed prize. This game is also suitable for all ages.
We’ve hired Peppa Pig themed soft play and a bouncy castle for the girls party, so I won’t be planning party games this time. I have some fun ideas for party bags, so I’ll blog about that soon. I hope these ideas have given you some Peppa Pig inspiration!
