It’s a bit of a rollercoaster ride, this potty training malarkey! I hope I’m not boring you all too much with my potty reports 🙈. Seeing as a lot of the potty books claim to help you potty train your toddler in 7 days (hmmm I’ll believe it when I see it), I thought I’d write an update each day…three more days to go!
Today hasn’t been too bad. Bella was definitely in a better frame of mind. I noticed that she didn’t wee as much. She did have a nap this afternoon for an hour and a half and woke up with an epic poo in her nappy, so she probably did a cheeky wee then.
Maybe it’s a sign that she’s beginning to control her bladder better…time will tell. She only had one accident today and she has started to dramatically gasp and grab her bits when she feels the urge to wee. At last we are getting somewhere!
Another day of thinking of ways to keep her entertained on the potty. Today we built towers, did puzzles, played with old toys and formed a band…the verdict is still out on a band name.
Flo has loved hanging out with her big Sister. And once again she always wanted to be involved in the action. Although it’s potty training is very intense & all consuming experience, it has allowed me to spend lots of quality of time with Bella.
Since Flo life is so busy. Bella is also quite the social butterfly,so we are always dashing here & there to Ballet, playgroup, play dates, Boots runs, Pet Shop (bloody fish), Pre School and so on! So although I am beginning to get cabin fever, I’m enjoying having this time back with Bella.
