This gorgeous hot weather has inspired me to try out different Ice Lolly recipes for the girls. So with the help of my trustee app Pinterest, I’ve gone on the hunt and found these yummy, looking recipes. I thought I’d share with you all, in case you’d like to have a go at home.

  • Peel the Kiwi, using a potato masher, mash the Kiwi to a pulp
  • Fill up an ice pop mold to 1/3 full with the Kiwi pulp and add an ice pop stick
  • Put into the freezer
  • Crush the Raspberries to a pulp
  • When the Kiwi is frozen add the Raspberries until 2/3 full and return to the freezer
  • When the Raspberries are frozen, add the orange & mango juice and return to the freezer

Berry & Lemonade Ice Pops

These bad boys look so refreshing! These lollies contain Lemonade so they might be better for slightly older kids or big kids (myself included). This is a super easy recipe.

Ingredients

  • 100g Raspberries
  • 100g Strawberries
  • 400ml Lemonade

Method

  • Put all the ingredients into a blender and blitz until combined. Pour into a popsicle mold and freeze until solid. They should take 3 hours to completely freeze.

Avocado & Pear Ice Pop

These will be perfect for babies who are weaning and also great for soothing sore gums. I can’t wait to try these with Flo!!

Ingredients

  • 2 large Pairs
  • 2 ripe Avocados

Method

  • Peel the pears and remove the seeds
  • Peel the Avocado and remove the stone
  • Chop them up and put them in the blender. Make sure you blitz them well, so you don’t get any chewy, chunks of avocado
  • Pour mixture into a popsickle mold and the pop into the freezer

Blueberry & Coconut Ice Pops

These sound delicious! I love the pretty pastel colour too! Perfect for summer months! I wouldn’t mind trying them myself!

Ingredients

  • One cup of Blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 360ml canned coconut
  • 2tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Ingredients

  • Mixed the coconut milk, maple syrup & vanilla in a blender until smooth
  • Add the blueberries & pulse until they’ve been smashed but not completely blended
  • Pour the mixture into the popsickle molds and freeze for 5 hours overnight

I hope these recipes keep you & your little ones refreshed over the summer months! Enjoy!
