If you’ve read my previous blogs you’ll already know that the girls and I are big fans of Kids Knead Play; a fabulous, small business on Instagram who offer a huge variety of pre-made, Play Dough kits. I originally ordered a Make Your Own Bunny & Chick Kit for the girls, as part of their Easter Bunny hamper, but I couldn’t resist giving it to them sooner. This afternoon Bella had great fun making her own chick and Flo enjoyed eating hers.
Bella was really engrossed and had a fixed look of concentration on her face throughout the whole making process. Her Chick was very fashionable, wore make up and an Easter themed ribbon for a scarf. Bella’s chick aka Chicksie also wore a “special Easter crown because she is a princess”.
I just love how Kids Knead Play kits really encourage children to use their imaginations. Bella really enjoyed making her Chick and it kept her entertained for ages. She also loved pushing the different sized and textured buttons into the play dough to see what mark it made.
Flo really enjoyed exploring her Make a Bunny Kit. She’s really suffering with teething at the minute, so I had to continuously remind her that the Play Dough was not for eating. These kits are also great to help encourage your little ones motor skills, Flo was entertained for ages she kept poking her straw into the play dough and waving it in the air with a proud look on her face.
