This afternoon we were extremely lucky to get a sneak peek of the amazing new, pop-up event, The Emporium by Once Upon A Wish Events, which launches tomorrow in Royal Victoria Place at Central Market in Tunbridge Wells. In true Once Upon A Wish Events fashion it was extra magical and the girls could barely contain their excitement. Princesses including Anna & Elsa, Snow White, Moana and Cinderella came out to greet children and they posed for pictures. Flo couldn’t wait to show Anna her Anna doll and she had the biggest smile on her face when she met Moana.
To enter the event, the girls had to knock first and when they opened the door they were completely blown away by the fact that five, beautiful Princesses were ready and waiting to greet them, it definitely added to the wow factor. The room has been decorated beautifully, with flower walls and toadstools, there’s a “magic” vanity mirror, where your little ones are encouraged to pick a Princess tiara which they can take home with them, there’s a stage and teepee and lots of fairytale touches to help set the tone. Each Princess has their own section in the room and there are even “magic” round stickers on the floor to help remind little ones that they need to remain socially distant.
Elsa kicked off the event by serenading the girls with Let It Go, the girls were in absolute awe, Bella listened nicely, whilst Flo swayed and danced with her Anna doll. The girls were encouraged to sing and clap along, which they loved. I have always been impressed at how much the characters interact with the children, making them feel extra special. Princess Belle talked the girls through Princess etiquette and gave them some pointers on how to be a good Princess.
The girls practiced their curtseys, Princess waving and twirling and then they each made their way to the Magic Vanity Mirror to pick a Princess Tiara. The girls were encouraged to try their tiara on and look into the magic mirror and show their best Princess smiles. They then made their way to Snow White, who was sitting by the Magic Wishing Well. Snow White asked the girls to each make a wish, which Snow White wrote down on a wooden heart and then the girls were asked to place their wish into the Magic Wishing Well.
Bella wished for a pet Spider (no chance) and Flo wished for a pet bunny. The girls couldn’t wait to dive into the Teepee, I don’t blame them, it looked super comfortable. After they had finished rolling about in the Teepee, they got to have a photo taken with each princess, ending with Moana, who is one of the girls favourite Princesses. The Emporium pop up events, will make your little ones feel extra special, as they get to hang out with their favourite Princesses, who really do look and act the part.
