The girls had a play date with their friend Millie this morning and they had a blast. PJ Masks theme tune played on loop (good old Alexa), whilst the girls pranced and danced around in their PJ Mask costumes, except for Flo who was dressed as a Dinosaur. Toys were flying everywhere and their girly screams could be heard from down the street.
After a while their screams became torturous which is when I busted out this gem; Ladybird Making Kit by Tiny Land. This weeks Instagram Shout Out goes to Tiny Land; an amazing, small business who make brilliant natural, eco creative play and art supplies made by food! Such a genius idea!
From coloured & scented Salt Dough to Organic Crayons, to Playdough Sets, Sensory Play and loads more, Tiny Land offer so many ways to encourage your little ones to explore and develop their fine motoring skills and also to try something new. I ordered a Tiny Land Ladybird Making Kit and as you can see the girls took it very seriously. The kit includes two different, coloured scented Salt Doughs to make your Ladybird, black beans for the spots and Green coloured rice for the grass.
This kit makes the perfect craft activity for a three-year-old. It comes with simple instructions, it’s safe and easy to use and the girls really enjoyed making their Ladybirds independently. Once you have made your Ladybirds, pop them onto a lined, baking tray and bake them in the oven at 120 degrees until they set. The instructions recommend around 20 minutes, but I ended up baking them for 30 minutes on one side and 10 minutes on the other.
