The girls had the most magical time at the An Enchanted Garden Party by Once Upon a Wish Events today. The princess themed party was held at Salomons Estate, which was the perfect setting. Excitement filled the air and dreams came true as lots of little girls met their favourite princesses.
Bella and her Bestie Elsie made a beeline for their favourite princess, Ariel. They were both so excited to meet her. Flo was not impressed that she had competition and she eyed up Snow White and refused to have a photo taken with her #diva. Thankfully Flo soon came round to the Princesses (She’s always been a bit wary of characters) and she was making friends with them in no time.
The party was started with dancing and games on the lawn. The girls shook their Pom Poms to shake it off and showed off their dance moves to Baby Shark. What was really lovely is that the Princesses mingled and interacted with the crowd the whole two hours. There was a great selection of princesses too including Belle, Ariel, Aurora, Jasmin and Snow White, you really were spoilt for choice.
The Princesses then led the girls into the main party room, which was beautifully decorated with a pretty flower wall and fairytale teepees. There was a sweetie station, squash and cups for mini princesses to help themselves. There was also a table selling fluffy wands, ribbon wands, tiaras and tutus at really decent prices. You could buy a fluffy wand at just £2 and the wands are really sturdy.
The fun was endless and the princess party was fast paced, with lots of games and activities that were suitable for all ages. Firstly, Aurora taught the girls how to be a princess. Bella and Elsie really concentrated as they practiced their curtsey and twirling. Princess crafts followed and each princess helped the girls to decorate their wands and princess crowns with stickers and jewels.
A princess story was told next and the girls were encouraged to get involved and join in with actions. Pass the genie lamp was lots of fun with yummy prizes to be won and the last game was a team game with Aurora and Snow White as team captains. Everyone was given a ball and they had to race against each other to throw the ball into the buckets.
Ariel sang the famous “Part of Your World” as the mini princesses all sat and watched in awe. Before the party ended, there was an opportunity to have a picture taken with all the princesses. Every little girl was also given a free flower crown which was a lovely touch. The girls really did have a ball and they didn’t stop smiling the whole time.
This was our first Once Upon a Wish party and it’s definitely not our last. It was so well organised, the atmosphere was fun and relaxed and I was very impressed at the long list of activities. The princesses all looked amazing and they really made an effort to make each little girl feel extra special.
