Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the Summer, but there’s something about the darker nights drawing in, changing leaves and the crisp air, that gets me all excited, whose with me? If you’ve been following my blog from the start, you’ll know that I am big kid when it comes to parties or holidays and with Halloween just around the corner, I have started to look for some inspo. Caring is sharing, so I have put together a list of my favourite Halloween Party Food ideas, found on my favourite app Pinterest and I wanted to share them with you all, so here we go.
Spider Cupcakes
Bella is obsessed with Spiders (strange child) so these Spider Cupcakes are definitely on my to do list. I found this idea on https://www.texanerin.com If you fancy yourself as being a bit of a Mary Berry, you’ll find the recipe on the website. However if you’re a bit of a Bridget Jones when it comes to baking (yes I am totally talking about myself), you could buy plain cupcakes and decorate them yourself, you could even cheat and use good old Betty Crocker Cream Cheese Frosting. Pop an Oreo biscuit on top, use chocolate sauce to create the legs and you can buy sugar eyes from Hobby Craft or even on Amazon.
Eyeball Jelly
This simple but fun idea is from http://catchmyparty.com It’s really easy to create and it will be a big winner for kids of all ages. Both of the girls are jelly fans, so I shall definitely give this a go, I might add a few sprinkles to make it look even more fun.
Ghost Pretzels
I am all for simple and quick party food ideas and this Ghost Pretzels idea taken from https://www.dessertnowdinnerlater.com is so easy to make. You simply dip Pretzels in melted white chocolate, lay them on a tray, stick candy eyes in the gaps and let them set. These Ghost Pretzels would make the perfect Halloween party treat.
Pumpkin Veggie Tray
Just because it’s Halloween, it doesn’t mean we have to fill our children with sugar, there are lots of fun savoury ideas too. How cool is this Pumpkin Veggie Tray idea taken from https://www.keepingthepeas.com This idea is perfect for children parties, you can have a hummus dip and maybe a sour cream dip. I love this idea and will definitely make one for the girls.
Eyeball Deviled Eggs
How cool is this idea? These Eyeball Deviled Eggs make the perfect Halloween appetiser, taken from https://www.happyfoodstube.com/eyeball-deviled-eggs/ are really easy to make and the best part is that they can be partially prepared ahead of the party. The full recipe is on the website.
