With Easter literally around the corner, I wanted to share the girls Easter goodies with you. These treats will be delivered by the Easter Bunny on Easter Sunday and will be discovered by two overly excited girls at the end of their egg hunt. I definitely get way too excited when planning these types of events. Does anyone have a Bunny suit I can borrow? Just kidding!
As much as I don’t mind the girls having the odd chocolate treat, the thought of them eating their body weight in chocolate and bouncing off the walls before 8am doesn’t really float my boat. These giant Hollow Eggs from Hobby Craft make the perfect alternative to a chocolate Easter Egg. You can fill them with all sorts of small gifts and include a small chocolate treat if you wish.
Bella
Here’s a peak inside Bella’s giant egg. I’ve included; Stickers from Hobby Craft and Card Factory, Hopping Bunny, giant egg shaped chocolate coin and Bunny pen from The Card Factory, Chick Teddy, Bunny Shaped Crayons and Racing Bunny from Poundland, Dinosaur Egg, Mini Unicorn, Bunny Pez from The Range, Bouncing Egg from Hobby Craft, Fairy Peg Doll from Peg Friends, Sylvanian Families Blind Bag and lastly a Living Nature Bunny.
Another great alternative to a chocolate egg is a book. I found Bella’s two Easter themed books and We’re Going on an Egg Hunt Sticker Book on Amazon and I got her Easter Colouring Book and Stickers from The Works. We are going to stay at Nana and Grandads for a couple of days over Easter so these books will help keep her entertained.
Flo
Flo pretty much has the same as Bella minus a few less bits and bobs. At 18 months she’s at the awkward stage where she’s not a baby anymore but not quite old enough to fight the temptation of putting small bits into her mouth. I picked up a flashing George Bouncy Ball from The Range and she has an extra Peg doll Fairy from Peg Friends.
Flo is obsessed with noisy & lift the flap books at the moment, so I got her Crunch Munch Bunny on Amazon and I also got her an Easter themed colouring book from Amazon as well as the Easter Colouring Book and Stickers from The Works. I’m going to also order Spots First Easter too.
The Egg Hunt
The main event in many households on Easter Sunday is an egg hunt. I plan to hide lots of hollow plastic eggs brought from Poundland and Asda around the house and use these cute and bright signs from Party Delights to give the girls clues. I’ll also hide the odd chocolate treat for them to find.
I brought the girls felt Easter treat buckets and Bunny ears from Hobby Craft. The Bunny footprints are from Party Delights and the Bunny masks and novelty glasses are from Asda. I like to involved the girls favourite teddies and toys and I’ll put the masks and glasses on them for the girls to find.
Easter Gift
Unfortunately the Easter Bunny takes all the credit for Mummy’s hard work, but hey ho, you’ve got to keep the magic alive. I came across this Playmobile Easter Bunny Kit on Amazon, I had to get it for Bella as her Easter gift from Mummy and Daddy. For Flo we got her a Dreaming Party Eggs Family toy by Baoli. It’s interactive and musical so she will love it!
