I’ve been slacking a bit in the kitchen department, so with Bella at Pre School this morning and whilst Flo had her morning nap, I dusted off my trustee cookbook; Real Food Kids Will Love by Annabel Karmel and I knocked up these bad boys. I also made some other bits but I’ll share those tomorrow.

Savoury Pancakes are so easy to make. Even my inner Bridget Jones couldn’t screw this recipe up. You could easily experiment with different ingredients to. I haven’t made these for Flo yet, but thankfully she was more than happy to scoff one.

Thanks to teething, Flo has been a bit off her food. I wanted to experiment and offer her a more pick n mix lunch to encourage her to try different things and also in hope that she will eat a bit more. She really enjoyed having a variety and took it in turns to take a bite out of each thing

This Sweetcorn and Cherry Tomato Recipe by Annabel Karmel is so quick and easy. You literally throw all the ingredients together, give it a good mix, throw a couple of dollops of mixture into a frying pan and fry each side for two minutes and voila you have tasty pancakes for lunch or dinner. These savoury pancakes will also make great lunch bag snacks as you can eat them hot or cold.

This week I’m on a mission to bake a few more bits for the girls. They both have a sweet tooth, so I’m going to make them a batch of healthy, Blueberry Muffins and I’m also going to try to make some oat cookies.
