We survived the night, well just about. It was Bella’s turn to gift us with a sleepless night. She woke with a night terror at midnight and continued to scream and lash out for over an hour, needless to say Flo was woken up, but thankfully went straight back to sleep, with the help of a bottle.

Late this morning, Flo was turning into a bit of an over dramatic, over emotional Diva, so a nap was in order. This would of been her first nap in her new big girl bed, so I was curious to see how she’d get on. She fell asleep really quickly, just not in her bed! She ended up in a sleeping heap right in front of her bedroom door and that’s where she stayed for over an hour.

It’s 7:40pm and Flo is still roaming her bedroom. She keeps luring me into a false sense of security and after her travels around her room, she keeps going back to her bed to lie down, but then she gets up and straddles the side of her bed like a horse, drags her duvet completely off her bed and at one point she kept counting to three and bouncing on her bum.

I’ve had to go into her room a couple of times and put her back in her bed. She’s definitely fighting sleep more tonight, at one point it sounded like she was singing Bohemian Rapsody, whilst banging on her bedroom door “maaamaaaa ooooooooh”. So many times she lays down on her pillow and cuddles a teddy and you can see her eyes blinking heavily, but then she jumps up and starts playing.

I don’t think it will take her too long to settle. She is happy with her new found freedom and she does keep going back to lie down. My Hubby forgot to shut her bedroom door completely last night so she came running into our room at 6.50am this morning with a massive smile on her face. Tune in tomorrow to see how night number two went.
